PaNOSC Node

The vision for EOSC is to put in place a system in Europe to find and access data and services for research and innovation. This is to help researchers store, share, process, analyse and reuse FAIR research outputs within and across disciplines and borders.” see “Building the EOSC Federation” by the EOSC Association for more information.

The PaNOSC Node has been chosen as one of the first wave of EOSC Nodes to participate in the build-up phase of the EOSC Federation. The following facilities have committed to providing services and data to the PaNOSC Node: ESRF (host), ALBA, DESY, ELETTRA, ESS, European XFEL, HZDR, ILL, MAX IV Laboratory, PSI, and SOLEIL. The PaNOSC Node will be represented by the ESRF.

User eXperience

Users of the PaNOSC Node will have access to: the PaN-Finder search engine for finding FAIR Data from all partner facilities, the PaN-Space user space for keeping track of data and PaN tasks, the VISA virtual research environment for processing PaN data by running workflows, Jupyter Notebooks, and graphical applications, the PaN-Training training platform.
